Are You Smarter Than A High Schooler?

Get ready to play "Are You Smarter Than A High Schooler?"!  We want to know if our parents and adult congregation members are smarter than our Underground Youth.  Think you've got what it takes?  Join the game on Saturday, April 27 at 6:00 pm in the Christian Life Center!

The Underground Youth join their fellow Arkansas Youth at Ozark Mission Project (OMP) every summer.  OMP sends youth across the state of Arkansas for a week of servitude to individuals and families.  In Summer 2018, our youth built wheelchair ramps and stair railings, mended fences, cleaned yards, cleared out garages, and much more in the cities of Jonesboro and Benton.  We're very proud of these students for taking the time out of their summer to work long, hard days to help those in need.

Watch this video in the link below where our own Youth member Josh Smith talks about his OMP experience to Region 8 News Channel in Jonesboro: http://bit.ly/2pTBcx9

Summer 2019 dates will soon be announced so stay tuned!

Refuge is an opportunity for youth in grades 6th-9th to be introduced to the connectional events if Arkansas Conference Youth Ministries. They enjoy a weekend in the beautiful outdoors while getting away from the hustle and bustle of school life. They have a chance to refocus their hearts and minds on God without the distractions of daily life.  Refuge, in all its essence, IS a refuge from a busy, challenging world, and indulgence into the pure,

beautiful experience of God’s grace. This event is held every year at Shepard of the Ozarks retreat center located near Harriet, AR.

Stay tuned for Fall 2019 dates!
