Kids will worship through song and instruments in the new FUMC Kidz Music Program! Music is an important, lively way to connect to God. We work with kids to teach them worship through singing and instruments to bring them closer to God. See some of the exciting parts of the program below!
FUMC Kidz Music Program at First United Methodist Church is for all children grades 1st-5th. We also have music programming for our Pre-K & K children, held at a separate time.
Our 1st-5th graders will have practices on Wednesday nights from 6:00-7:30 pm starting September 6, 2017 and running through December 13th, 2017.
Elementary & Middle School students participating in our music program will have the opportunity to learn how to worship through a unique dramatic experience using white gloves and black-lights to create a cool new worship experience for all. This new group will be called "FUMC Kidz Illuminate".
Children will also have the opportunity to practice and learn to sing traditional hymns for our traditional services through FUMC Kidz Praise choir. The FUMC Kidz Illuminate and FUMC Kidz Praise choirs will serve in our Sunday morning worship services several times during the school year. Our Pre-K & K choir, The Quarter Notes, practice on Wednesday afternoons during WAK from 5:00-5:30 pm.
Pre-K & K children DO NOT need to register, as they are automatically enrolled when they enroll for Pre-K & K W.A.K.
